British studio founded in 1978, with offices in Bath, London and Manchester, considered one of the UK's leading practices in low-energy design. Sustainability has driven its work since its beginnings, and they developed their own tool (FCBS Carbon) to help architects achieve carbon-neutral buildings. Its proposals include Paradise, a six-storey office building in CLT designed to be carbon negative. Its partner Peter Clegg drove the Architects Declare initiative in 2019.
