This legal notice governs access to and use of the website www.descarboniza.es (hereinafter, "the Website" or "the Platform"), owned by the party identified above.

Descarboniza is an editorial directory and a set of digital tools for sustainable construction: a construction-systems comparator, a CTE HE thermal calculator, a radon calculator, a CAE scanner, and a catalogue of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), among others.

Browsing the Website grants the status of User and implies full and unreserved acceptance of the provisions contained in this Legal Notice, as well as in the Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the Cookie Policy. Users who do not agree must refrain from using the Website.

Access to the Website is free of charge, except for those features requiring registration or a paid subscription, whose specific conditions are set out in the Terms and Conditions.

The User undertakes to:

• Make diligent, lawful and good-faith use of the content and tools.
• Not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, purposes that infringe third-party rights, or that damage its operation.
• Not introduce viruses or malicious code, and not carry out mass scraping, reverse engineering, or attacks that compromise the integrity of the service.
• Not impersonate other users, companies or professionals.
• Provide truthful information when completing forms or submitting professional listings.

All content on the Website — including, but not limited to, editorial texts, graphic design, source code, logos, trademarks, illustrations, photographs and databases — is owned by the site owner or by third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by Spanish and EU legislation on intellectual and industrial property.

The listings for companies, materials and projects published in the directory contain public information or information voluntarily provided by the entities themselves. The trademarks, logos and trade names reproduced belong to their respective owners and are used solely for informational purposes; their appearance does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or mutual endorsement unless expressly stated.

Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and other technical documents linked to or reproduced on the Website are the property of the issuing organisations and their respective verifiers. Descarboniza acts as an aggregator and reference point, not as the publisher of the original document.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation of the content without the express written authorisation of the owner is prohibited, except in cases permitted by law.

The information contained on the Website is for informational and guidance purposes. The calculation tools (CTE HE, radon, carbon-footprint comparator, CAE scanner, etc.) provide estimates based on public data, verified EPDs and current regulations, but do not replace the judgement of a qualified professional nor constitute professional, legal, tax or engineering advice.

The owner is not liable for decisions the User makes based on the results of these tools, nor for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of data supplied by third parties (manufacturers, verification bodies, public administrations).

The owner does not guarantee continuous availability of the Website and may suspend, interrupt or modify the service for technical, maintenance or force-majeure reasons.

The Website includes links to third-party sites (manufacturer listings, EPDs hosted on Environdec, GlobalEPD, official platforms, etc.). The owner assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of such external sites. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement or contractual affiliation.

Any person or entity wishing to link to descarboniza.es must respect intellectual property rights, must not make false or inaccurate statements about the Website, and must not use trademarks or logos without authorisation.

The processing of personal data provided by the User is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form an inseparable part of this Legal Notice.

The owner reserves the right to modify the content of the Website and of this Legal Notice at any time, without prior notice, by publishing the updated versions on this same page.

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from access to or use of the Website shall be submitted, waiving any other jurisdiction, to the Courts of the consumer's domicile when the User acts as a consumer, and otherwise to the Courts of the owner's domicile.
