Fayetteville, Estados Unidos
Studio based in Fayetteville (Arkansas, United States) recognised for its work with solid timber and sustainable university facilities. It is the author of Adohi Hall at the University of Arkansas, one of the largest cross-laminated timber (CLT) student residences in the United States, which notably reduces embodied carbon compared with conventional construction. Its practice integrates engineered timber, regional design and attention to place, demonstrating the viability of structural timber in large, intensively used facilities.
Why we chose it
Because it designed Adohi Hall, one of the largest CLT student residences in the US, proving solid timber in large-scale facilities.
