Virai: "Virai seeks to improve people's lives through Architecture and the design of healthy and positive built environments. Each proposal is an opportunity to think, research and propose a different way of generating environments that have a favourable impact on people. And to achieve this, we start at the beginning: asking each client and the different users what they need and what they are looking for. Virai began in 2000, building its track record mainly through public architecture competitions, becoming a national and international reference studio in the development of highly healthy, sustainable and humanised projects, reflected in the numerous awards and recognitions received. The team is led by Marta Parra and Juan Manuel Herranz, founding partners of the studio. The design approach takes into account not only the functionality of buildings, but also the experience of users, as well as the physical and cultural context. Sustainability and emotional conditions are key ingredients of the design process. Virai understands that architecture is not just an image. Being aware of the role of architecture as an element of change and improvement in society, Virai brings together sustainability and people-centred design as the main ingredients of its proposals, to offer a high-quality service and support our clients, from the start of a project to the completion of the works."
