Master builder from Vallirana (Barcelona), specialising in the design, calculation, construction and restoration of self-supporting vaults and domes without the need for formwork. He masters techniques such as the timbrel vault, using flat or edge-laid bricks, and also works with materials such as adobe and compacted earth blocks, bonded with natural clay or lime mortars. He has stood out both for his craftsmanship and his teaching: he gave practical classes on the Master's Degree in Sustainable Construction at the University of Girona (since 2015), and has taken part in international workshops and demonstrations, including building a dome at a sustainable construction festival in Poland in 2019. His work reflects a solid revival of traditional techniques that aim to be functional, sustainable and culturally relevant.
