Its houses are built using timber framing and beams, with walls of high-quality timber panels, a solid timber roof and timber floors, achieving building envelope insulation levels equivalent to the KfW 40 Plus very low energy standard. It was one of the first prefabricated house manufacturers to obtain European approval from the German Institute of Building Technology and works throughout Germany.
