Lignum Tech

Cuenca, España

Spanish company pioneering the industrialisation of façades and timber construction systems, part of Grupo Vía Ágora. It operates a 10,000 m² robotised factory in Cuenca with a capacity for 175,000 m² per year of ventilated timber façades, terraces, staircases, bathrooms and kitchens ready for installation. All the timber is certified (PEFC and FSC chain of custody) and comes from the Serranía de Cuenca, which—according to the company—reduces the carbon footprint of the façade by up to 80% compared with conventional solutions and cuts timeframes in half, without scaffolding. Its light ventilated façade system has DAU 22/132 from ITeC; it does not yet have its own EPD for the system. In 2026 it officially approved FINSA's Superpan Tech technical board for integration into its timber façades.

Because they industrialise the locally-sourced ventilated timber façade (pine from the Serranía de Cuenca, PEFC/FSC chain) in a robotised plant, with a DAU from ITeC backing the system and a cladding up to five times lighter than a conventional ventilated façade.
