A company founded in 1999 in Guadix (Granada) that manufactures and builds with solid hemp blocks offering high thermal, acoustic and bioclimatic performance. The Cannabric block, developed by architect Monika Brümmer, is made of industrial hemp fibre, natural hydraulic lime and minerals from the caves of Guadix, pressed and air-dried, with a fully natural composition. As well as manufacturing the material, they have built close to 300 single-family homes in Spain and refurbishment projects, also outside the country. The blocks naturally regulate indoor temperature and provide mechanical and fire resistance.
