Austrian manufacturer specialising in concealed connection systems for timber construction, founded more than 40 years ago by Friedrich Knapp. It manufactures in Austria and Germany fittings for light timber frame, cross-laminated timber (CLT) and solid timber, prefabricated walls, staircases, decking and furniture. Its RICON S and MEGANT ranges enable high-capacity connections (up to 230 kN and 633 kN respectively) between timber, steel and concrete. It has offices in Austria, Germany, France and the USA. Certifications: ETA-15/0667 (MEGANT), ETA-10/0189 (RICON S), CE marking.
