TimberTech is a structural engineering and software development firm born from the timber research group at the University of Trento (Italy), founded by professors Maurizio Piazza and Roberto Tomasi and engineer Mauro Andreolli. Its product TimberTech Buildings calculates and analyses load-bearing wall structures in cross-laminated timber (CLT) and light timber frame. It rounds off its activity with structural consultancy, diagnostics, on-site testing, training and R&D for manufacturers in the sector such as Binderholz, Rothoblaas, Würth and Rubner.
