AisdeCel

Description

AisdeCel is a Spanish manufacturer of thermal and acoustic insulation with a plant in Coreses (Zamora), specialising in blown-in cellulose. Its flagship product is Thermopal 35/3, a water-repellent cellulose — according to the company, the only one on the market with this treatment — which highly resists the penetration of water and air without losing vapour permeability, so that it retains its original state in the event of possible dampness. The treatment also makes it bactericidal, fungicidal and resistant to fungi and rodents. It is applied by blowing through small holes drilled into cavity walls or false ceilings, filling the cavity without the need for building work, and stands out as one of the insulation materials with the highest acoustic absorption capacity on the market, dampening both external noise and noise from adjacent rooms. It also manufactures other insulation materials such as sprayed cork and rock wool. As a recycled-base material with a low energy production cost, AisdeCel's cellulose is a local option for energy retrofitting with sustainability criteria.
