A Canadian company from Halifax whose technology injects captured CO2 into fresh concrete during mixing: the gas is mineralised as calcium nanocarbonate, remains permanently stored and improves strength, allowing the cement content to be reduced by around 5% without losing performance. More than 800 licensed systems in 35 countries have produced millions of concrete loads with a lower footprint. The concrete plants that adopt the technology publish EPDs for their own mixes, with the mineralised CO2 verified by CarbonCure.
