Cementos Balboa

A cement plant in the Grupo Gallardo group located in Alconera (Badajoz), close to the Siderúrgica Balboa steelworks. It incorporates blast-furnace slag as an addition in its cements, an industrial by-product that replaces part of the clinker and reduces the emissions associated with its calcination. It produces cement and clinker for the mainland market and for export.
