The inventors of modern CLT: panels manufactured in Styria with updated EPDs and PEFC timber.
World pioneer of CLT: it developed cross-laminated timber (CLT) in 1996 together with Graz University of Technology and has manufactured it ever since in Katsch an der Mur (Styria, Austria), with a second plant in Wiesenau. Its KLH panels are exported worldwide for structural walls, floors and roofs. It publishes EPDs from the IBU programme, updated to the EN 15804+A2 standard, for both plants and uses PEFC-certified timber. Numerous tall European timber buildings have been built with its panels.
