Acoustic panels made from mycelium and recycled textile, the world's first commercial ones, manufactured in Italy.
Italian company from Inarzo (Varese), founded in 2015 and part of the SQIM group, which manufactures the world's first commercial mycelium acoustic panels. It grows the material on recycled textile and agro-industrial waste, producing lightweight panels with a B-s1,d0 fire classification suitable for all types of public spaces, as well as resilient flooring with a mycelium core. The process takes place at room temperature and replaces plastic foams with a compostable biomaterial. It has received investment from the Kering group and collaborates with European design studios.
