DescriptionPolygood® is a surface panel made entirely from recycled polystyrene (rPS) by The Good Plastic Company, with plants in Almere (Netherlands) and Chernivtsi (Ukraine). The material comes 100% from polystyrene waste — from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and post-industrial offcuts (tubes, spools) — sourced from EuCertPlast-certified suppliers, and is itself recyclable. It comes in large-format boards (2800×1400 mm, 12 and 19 mm thick) with terrazzo- or marble-like finishes, for cladding, furniture, worktops, facades and decorative elements in retail, hospitality, offices and housing; used by brands such as Nike, Adidas, IKEA and McDonald's. It holds a verified EPD (The International EPD System, S-P-09636) and Cradle to Cradle® v4.0 (Bronze). Per its EPD (cradle-to-gate, A1-A3), its footprint is 487 kg CO2eq/m³ — the company places this around 8 times lower than virgin polystyrene.
