Rumett
Innovative paper-free plasterboard panels, recycled mineral waste, 85% CO2 reduction vs concrete.

Rumett is a young Danish company that has reinvented the traditional plasterboard panel with a circular approach. Their boards replace a large part of conventional gypsum with recycled mineral ash, significantly reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials and the associated emissions. The result is a lighter, more durable panel that is resistant to fire and moisture, capable of improving indoor comfort thanks to its breathability and acoustic absorption. In addition, its design makes installation, disassembly and recyclability at the end of its useful life easier, making it a coherent alternative to the challenges facing sustainable construction today.
For closing the loop on Pladur. Replacing virgin gypsum with recycled mineral ash directly tackles the problem of demolition waste and extractive mining, while also improving moisture resistance.
