Danish company that revives a local tradition: turning the eelgrass (zostera marina) that the sea deposits on the coastline into a building material. It manufactures panels and acoustic blankets with high absorption (class A) from this marine fibre, which grows without irrigation, fertilisers or agricultural land. Its verified EPD documents that the CO2eq stored in the eelgrass exceeds that emitted during production (modules A1-A3), and its products hold Cradle to Cradle certification. The material regulates humidity and is naturally resistant to mould thanks to its mineral salt content.
