Cesefor is a non-profit foundation created in 2003, based in Soria, to boost the forestry sector and its industry in Castilla y León and beyond. It promotes sustainable forest management, forest certification, the valorisation of wood and non-timber products (mycology, chestnut) and the competitiveness of the forest-based industrial fabric. It develops projects in bioeconomy, ecodesign, forestry statistics and digitalisation, positioning wood as a key material for decarbonising construction.
