ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability)
Bonn, Alemania
Global network of local and regional governments committed to sustainable development, founded in 1990. It supports cities in the transition towards low emissions, the circular economy, resilience and nature, offering methodologies, emissions inventory tools and climate commitment platforms. It matters for decarbonising construction because it helps local administrations integrate low-carbon criteria into planning, public building and material procurement, bringing the decarbonisation of the built environment to the level where many decisions are made.
