A 39-storey, 183-metre hybrid timber tower next to Sydney's Central station, headquarters of tech company Atlassian, due for completion in 2026. It will be the tallest hybrid timber building in the world: four-storey 'habitats' with a solid timber structure stacked within a steel exoskeleton on a concrete base, with intermediate gardens and an energy façade. The project sets out ambitious targets for reducing embodied and operational carbon compared with a conventional tower, and anchors the Tech Central district.
