Studio founded by Elora Hardy in Bali (Indonesia), specialising in highly crafted bamboo architecture. It is the author of the Green School and the Green Village housing complex, as well as the Arc Gymnasium, spectacular structures built entirely from locally sourced treated bamboo. Its work combines organic design, bamboo engineering and the training of local craftspeople, demonstrating that a renewable, fast-growing material can support complex, long-lasting buildings with a very low carbon footprint.
