European leader in poplar plywood board, headquartered in Logroño with several plants in Spain and France. Garnica manufactures lightweight boards from poplar sourced from PEFC/FSC-certified European plantations, a short-cycle crop that fixes carbon in agricultural land and boosts the rural economy. Its Efficiency, Duraply (exterior) and Fireshield (fire-resistant) ranges are used in construction, interior design, doors and vehicles. All three have an Environmental Product Declaration registered with EPD International — for example, EPD-IES-0005371 (S-P-05371) for Efficiency Poplar, valid until December 2026 — which facilitates their contribution to LEED and BREEAM certifications.
