Grupo Ibercal designs, manufactures and markets lime-based construction solutions from its plant in Almendralejo (Badajoz). Its catalogue —more than a hundred products based on air lime and natural hydraulic lime— covers mortars and eco-friendly mortars, stuccos and decorative finishes, eco-friendly paints, technical flooring, rehabilitation and repair systems, thermal and acoustic insulation and waterproofing. Air lime recarbonates during setting, reabsorbing CO₂, and is produced with much less energy than cement; it is also breathable and compatible with traditional techniques, making it ideal for the rehabilitation of built heritage.
