LA CASA DE LA CASA is a detached bioclimatic single-family home in Extremadura, built with prefabricated straw panels by the Bioconstrucciones Prefabricadas team (María Javaloyes, Jesús Morán and José Milara). It makes the most of orientation and the high insulation of straw to reduce energy demand, combining prefabrication and natural materials in a healthy, low carbon footprint home.
