Development of eleven publicly protected homes in Manacor (Mallorca), designed by Oliveras Boix Arquitectes with Cati Mestre for IBAVI. It forms part of the Balearic low-carbon public housing programme: local materials, walls with thermal mass, cross ventilation and in-between spaces that reduce the demand for heating and cooling in the Mediterranean climate. The development prioritises constructive simplicity, durability and contained costs, demonstrating that environmental ambition is compatible with affordable housing.
