Development of 24 publicly subsidised homes in Platja d'en Bossa (Eivissa), designed by estudi08014 for the IBAVI. The studio, which specialises in low-tech architecture, applies passive strategies suited to the Balearic climate: thermal mass, cross ventilation, solar protection and intermediate outdoor spaces that reduce reliance on mechanical air conditioning. The choice of low-impact, locally sourced materials lowers embodied carbon and brings affordable housing closer to the most demanding environmental standards in the Balearic public housing stock.
