Edificio Talco — 18 viviendas colaborativas

Madrid, España

Building of 18 collaborative homes in Villaverde (Madrid), driven by Distrito Natural and designed by sAtt with a timber structure and Passivhaus standard. The timber reduces embodied carbon and fixes CO2, while the passive design minimises the energy demand of the homes. The model combines ecology and community: shared spaces, soft mobility and a non-speculative development approach that seeks to demonstrate the viability of near-zero footprint urban housing in Madrid.
