Business school of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, opened in 2023 and presented as the largest timber building in Asia, with 43,500 m². Six storeys of certified-origin CLT and glulam, stiffened by concrete cores, with the exposed, unclad timber as the spatial protagonist. It is officially rated as a zero-energy building: rooftop photovoltaics offset its consumption, supported by passive ventilation and lighting adapted to the tropical climate. It demonstrates the scale that timber construction can achieve in Southeast Asia.
