    Oceánika — coliving de 180 apartamentos

    Torremolinos (Málaga), España

    Coliving development of 180 apartments in Torremolinos (Málaga), designed by Bakpak Architects and EOVASTUDIO and completed in 2025, First Prize AMAD 2025. Its structure incorporates around 3,500 m³ of cross-laminated timber (CLT), placing it among the largest timber buildings in southern Europe. The industrialised CLT construction shortened build times and reduced embodied carbon compared with concrete, as well as fixing CO2 within the structure itself; the shared spaces complete a high-density, low-impact residential model.
