Proyecto Tierra — casa pasiva de BTC

Single-family home in Llucmajor (Mallorca) designed by Neus García Iñesta, with energy consultancy by Amarante Barambio, and built by Ecocreamos. Built with compressed earth blocks (CEB) made with soil from the excavation itself, and insulated with 18 centimetres of cork and sheep's wool, it was the first house built with earth to obtain Passivhaus Premium certification, the most demanding category of the standard. It maintains comfort between 18 and 26 degrees without conventional climate control systems.
