Minneapolis, Estados Unidos
A seven-storey office building in the North Loop of Minneapolis, a pioneer of modern solid timber construction in the United States when it was completed in 2016. Its structure combines glulam and nail-laminated timber (NLT), made partly from pine trees killed by the mountain pine beetle, clad in Corten steel. The structure was erected in around nine and a half weeks and is much lighter than steel or post-tensioned concrete. It launched the T3 (Timber, Transit, Technology) series, later replicated in several North American cities.
