Studio from Santiago de Compostela formed by Elizabeth Abalo and Gonzalo Alonso, recognised for their refurbishment work combining stone and timber with contemporary sensibility. For the University of Vigo, they designed the refurbishment of three buildings in Vigo's historic centre, with a timber volume resting on the pre-existing stone arcades. They have developed refurbishments with an environmental and local component, drawing on local industry (km0). Their work has been widely awarded within Galicia.
