arquitectura
Barcelona, España
Studio founded in Barcelona in 2014 by Adrià Guardiet and Sandra Torres, both graduates of the ETSAB. They practise a deliberately anti-specialised and trans-scalar architecture, focused on open systems and resource efficiency, with projects ranging from public administration commissions to small private works. Their work has been recognised in local and international competitions and exhibited in various venues. Material economy and the use of timber are recurring features of their practice, in line with Barcelona's new wave of timber and cooperative architecture.
Why we chose it
Because they place resource economy and timber at the centre of a replicable method, both in public works and on a small scale.
