A Walloon cooperative founded in 2009, a Belgian pioneer in the prefabrication of load-bearing panels made of straw, timber and earth. At its workshop in Floreffe, it assembles walls, floors and roofs with a timber frame filled with compressed straw and an interior clay render already applied in the factory, which are then assembled on site within a few days. Straw is a local agricultural by-product that stores carbon and provides excellent thermal insulation, and the system reduces waste and construction times compared with traditional wet construction.
