Rizome

Manufacturer of laminated structural bamboo with operations in the Philippines, where it has set up a large plant in Cagayan de Oro supplied by giant bamboo from Mindanao, grown through agroforestry agreements with indigenous communities. Bamboo captures carbon much faster than an equivalent tree mass and regenerates after each harvest; the associated reforestation project generates carbon credits and was selected among the 60 finalists of the XPRIZE Carbon Removal. It produces bamboo boards and laminated timber for structure and finishes, also distributed in the United States.
