Aula de naturaleza del Parc del Falgar

Visitor centre, café and nature classroom in Parc del Falgar, designed by Edra Arquitectura km0 (Àngels Castellarnau) and Josep Bunyesc. Three permeable, reversible pieces are built with prefabricated timber and with earth from landslides on the Congost river meander, raised as rammed earth, a technique that had almost disappeared locally. Walls are insulated with blown cellulose and the dry-built roof is reusable. It is conditioned with passive strategies and an earth-air tunnel that tempers incoming air.
