Six-storey office building in Seattle, completed in 2013 and designed to meet the Living Building Challenge, the most demanding environmental certification. FSC-certified heavy timber structure on a concrete base, a photovoltaic roof covering its annual energy demand, rainwater harvesting and treatment, composting sanitation, and materials free of toxic substances from the red list. Designed for a 250-year service life, it was presented as the greenest commercial building in the world and remains a benchmark of regenerative design.
