Casa Ecológica en Choliba

The Choliba Ecological House, completed in 2019, is a sustainable self-build of 160 m², made with timber and straw bales. The project includes a central greenhouse and uses ecological systems such as dry toilets and reed-bed filtration to treat greywater. Costing €70,000, it was built with the help of friends and volunteers, prioritising the use of natural materials such as sheep's wool and clay for insulation and finishes.
