Hamburgo, Alemania

Residential tower in HafenCity (Hamburg) designed by Störmer Murphy and Partners; at around 65 metres, it's the tallest timber building in Germany. The main timber structure, combined with mineral cores as required by regulations, notably reduces embodied carbon compared with a conventional tower and stores CO2 in the long term within the building itself. It also houses an exhibition on nature run by the German Wildlife Foundation, reinforcing its educational role around construction and climate.
