Barcelona Urban Tech Hub

The Barcelona Urban Tech Hub (BUTH) is an IAAC innovation centre dedicated to urban technologies and sustainability. Located in the 22@ district, it brings together start-ups, researchers and entrepreneurs to foster the digital and ecological transition of cities, using timber as the main construction material. In collaboration with Tech Barcelona, COAC and Barcelona Global, BUTH will incubate local and international talent, offering training, scholarships and a focus on zero-emission cities. The building incorporates solid engineered timber as an example of sustainable innovation.
