DescriptionCalifornian company that recirculates CO2 from the cement kiln itself: its ReCarb process captures the gas from calcination and mineralises it as reactive calcium carbonate (ReAct), a supplementary cement with 70% fewer emissions according to the company. In 2024 it opened in Redding (California), next to CalPortland's plant, North America's first industrial CO2 mineralisation facility for green cement, capable of producing 15,000 tonnes of ReAct annually and fixing 6,600 tonnes of CO2. It is preparing larger-scale plants in the United States.
