DescriptionNorwegian industry founded in 1889 in Gjøvik, the only Nordic producer of porous wood fibre materials. Since 2019 it has manufactured Nativo wood fibre insulation, in panels and as loose-fill, from local sawmill chips, with a capacity of 600,000 m³ per year. It publishes environmental product declarations verified by EPD Norge for its ranges, for example NEPD-2286-1041 for the loose-fill insulation, and uses the environmental data in its purchasing and production decisions. The wood comes from Norwegian forests near the plant.
