Pure & Original is a Belgian brand of decorative paints that manufactures its products ethically at its own factory in Flanders. All its paints are water-based, formulated with 100% natural and organic mineral pigments, and contain as few additives as possible. This allows them to offer paints with the lowest level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on the market, and even VOC-free products. Pure & Original paints are vegan, not tested on animals, and suitable for sensitive and allergic users; some varieties, such as the Fresco lime paint, even absorb CO₂ during the drying process. The brand uses fully recyclable tin cans and holds eco-labels certifying low indoor air emissions.
