Colegio Imagine Montessori

Paterna (Valencia), España

Montessori school in Paterna by Carmel Gradolí and Arturo Sanz, completed in 2019, on the edge of the En Dolça ravine. Access is from the ravine side, crossing a pine grove on timber walkways, and every classroom looks onto the woods. The S-shaped building frames an entrance plaza and a playground; triple-height vertical spaces with solar collectors light and ventilate the classrooms. Arquitectura Viva lists it as an earth and timber building. The project had VERDE and BREEAM consultancy.
