Edificio Tomás Bretón — 20 viviendas de madera Passivhaus

A block of 20 homes in Arganzuela (Madrid) developed by Distrito Natural and designed by sAtt Triple Balance, completed in 2025. Above a concrete podium with two basements and the ground floor rises an engineered-timber structure (CLT and glulam) using Xilonor CLT, designed by Miguel Nevado and installed by Madergia. It meets the Passivhaus standard, runs fully electric — centralised heat pumps and 22 kW of rooftop PV — and holds an A+ energy rating. It was built by the Woodea–Madergia joint venture.
