Regal 97 — 5 viviendas en Son Gotleu

Small IBAVI development with five public housing units on Calle Regal in Son Gotleu (Palma). It continues the Balearic commitment to local materials: load-bearing walls of marés, the local sandstone with very low embodied energy, replacing conventional reinforced concrete structures. The small scale allows the neighbourhood fabric to be stitched back together with affordable, long-lasting housing, and shows that low-carbon construction is also viable on small urban regeneration plots.
