Sídney, Australia
A seven-storey office building in the Barangaroo neighbourhood, completed in 2017 and considered Australia's first solid-timber office building. CLT and glulam structure over a porticoed ground floor with columns of reclaimed ironbark eucalyptus timber, sourced from former infrastructure. Developed by Lendlease, it demonstrated the commercial viability of timber offices in the Australian market and paved the way for its twin, Daramu House. The exposed timber defines the interior look and reduces embodied carbon compared with concrete.
