A 206-metre, 49-storey office tower at Circular Quay (Sydney), completed in 2022 and celebrated as the world's first "recycled" skyscraper. Rather than demolishing the 1976 AMP Centre, 3XN and BVN retained more than 65% of its structure (beams, columns and floor slabs) and 95% of its core, doubling the floor area with five volumes rotated towards the bay. The structural reuse avoided around 12,000 tonnes of embodied CO₂ and years of construction work. It was World Building of the Year 2022 and stands as the leading reference for circular refurbishment at height.
