56 viviendas sociales industrializadas en Sant Martí

Development of 56 industrialised social housing units in the Sant Martí district (Barcelona), by Vivas Arquitectos and Exe Arquitectura, First Prize at the AMAD 2025 Awards in the new-build category. Built with prefabricated modular systems in which timber takes centre stage in both structure and construction, it dialogues with the area's industrial past and is organised around external corridors that foster neighbourly life. Industrialisation reduced the carbon footprint, waste and timeframes, and the corridor-free homes facilitate cross-ventilation and passive strategies.
